Beauty Bin: Empties #2

Who wants to take out the trash with me over the past few months? You can read my last Empties post here, and I've definitely let the products pile up since then! If you're up for some mini-reviews of all the products I've finished up over the last few months, keep reading!

Of course, skincare is always the first to be finished by me because I generally can stay more committed to those than makeup.

Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water ($9.99 AUD)

The only reason I bought this was because I saw it on Shaaanxo's channel and she really liked it for removing eye makeup at night. I thought it was okay, but I personally prefer the Garnier Micellar Water or Bioderma.
Repurchase? No.

Crop Gentle Cleansing Gel ($12 AUD)

I randomly bought this when I was at the grocery store and was intrigued by it's all natural ingredients. I really disliked this cleanser. It didn't remove all my makeup and I really didn't like the smell either.
Repurchase? No.

Delicious Skin Clean Butter Cleanser* ($28 AUD)

I've already raved about how much I love this cleanser for washing off all of my makeup here, here and a brand highlight here. Sadly I've already been through 2 jars of this stuff, and I feel like it runs out really quickly although I do love love love it for removing heavy eye makeup.
Repurchase? Yes, but will also be looking for some more affordable alternatives.

Biore Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser

I'm pretty sure this product has been discontinued from the Biore line in Australia, as I couldn't find links to purchase anywhere. This was a nice cleanser and got the job done for my combination and acne-prone skin. It definitely felt like it cleansed my face very deeply and it would be a good cheaper option for anyone with a similar skin type.
Repurchase? I don't think this available anymore within Australia.

Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash* ($65 AUD)

I received this cleanser from Obsession 2015 and my god, it's such a luxurious and beautiful cleanser. I loved every minute of using it. I featured it in my March Favourites It gets rid of dead skin cells and makes your skin appear very bright and refreshed.
Repurchase? I would definitely repurchase this in the full size but it's very $$$

Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Shower Gel ($25.95 AUD)

I really like this shower gel because it's a really natural, clean scent and I love the anti-bacterial effects of the honey. My partner also loves this one and it foams up beautifully.
Repurchase? I would repurchase this but not all the time because it's pricey for a shower gel.

The Body Shop Jasmine Cherry Blossom Shower Gel* ($15.95 AUD)

I found this shower gel was a little too strong and floral for my liking, and not a fresh scent which I tend to prefer. I didn't find it to be too drying and it left me feeling clean but not my favourite.
Repurchase? No.

Dove Go Fresh Beauty Cream Wash ($7.99 AUD)

This body wash was a random purchase from when I was away for the weekend and forgot to pack some shower gel. It's very creamy and hydrating and this particular grapefruit and lemongrass scent was so beautiful! I loved using this and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was for the price.
Repurchase? Yes.

Lux Tahitian Escape Body Wash ($5.99 AUD)

This body wash is always on sale but I feel like it does a nice job. This particular bottle contains tiny exfoliating beads that I really like and the scent is nice as well. It's nothing too fancy but it does the job for something that just gets poured down the drain.
Repurchase? Yes

Batiste Dry Shampoo Blush ($9.99 AUD)

Batiste is my go-to brand for dry shampoo and I don't think I can be convinced to try any others with the great results I get from these bottles. Love the scent of this one too!
Repurchase? Yes yes yes!

KMS Hair Stay Anti-Humidity Seal ($31.95)

This bottle has lasted me forever. This is amazing after you curl or straighten your hair to ensure that your hair stays looking shiny and avoids any frizziness. I love this for a big night out because it actually works to protect your hair from humidity which is needed in the Australian summer.
Repurchase? Yes!

Earth Science Olive & Avocado Hair Masque ($9.96 AUD)

One of my all time favourite deep conditioners for my hair that works amazingly well. Available through iHerb you won't regret adding this to your cart on your next order. It smells so fresh and amazing and makes my hair feel so soft and lucious.
Repurchase? I have so many bottles of this stuff!

Goldwell DualSenses Color Fade Stop Shampoo* ($20.95 AUD)

If you have color-treated hair, this shampoo is great at preventing any fading and smells really good as well!
Repurchase? Yes! I love anything from the DualSenses line.

L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Supreme Hold Volume Hairspray ($3.99 AUD)

This was purely bought for it's easy to throw in the handbag size and cheap price. I like it because it doesn't make my hair feel super sticky or gross after a few spritzs. Not revolutionary.
Repurchase? Yes just because it's so cheap!

Skinstitut Glycolic Scrub 14% ($45 AUD)

I won't talk any more about this product because I already have a dedicated post to this brand which you can find here. This is an amazing chemical and physical exfoliant that I absolutely swear by.
Repurchase? Yes, I will repurchase this until I die it's so good.

Skinstitut Glycolic Cleanser 12% ($45)

Great cleanser for unclogging pores deep down and treated under the skin pimples. This can dry out your skin if used too often so be careful for combo and dry skin types.
Repurchase? Yes, I already have.

ECO Refresh Cleanser* ($7 AUD)

A milky cleanser that removes makeup and impurities. I found it didn't remove all my makeup and didn't leave my skin feeling as clean as I would have liked.
Repurchase? No, I wasn't really a big fan.

Mario Badesco Cucumber Cleansing Lotion

This came in the Regimen Kit for Combination/Oily Skin from Mecca Maxima. It's a smaller version of their full size cleanser, which I don't think is available to purchase on it's own yet. I liked this cleanser, I just didn't love it. I think it may have been too drying for my combination skin. It contains 4% alcohol and that is an ingredient I try to stay away from.
Repurchase? No.

Dermalogica Precleanse Wipes ($24 AUD)

I honestly hated these so much. They were more expensive than most other wipes and didn't work well for me. You are supposed to add water to these to create a milky emulsion which takes off all traces of makeup but I found even when I added water the cloths were really dry and didn't take my makeup off well. They also smell horrible. I struggled to get through this pack.
Repurchase? No.

Essenzza Health Facial Cleansing Wipes ($7.45 AUD)

These are your standard makeup removing cloths but they contain one side that is textured to better remove eye makeup. I really didn't like the rough textured side and found these didn't work well to remove my makeup at all.
Repurchase? No.

Beauty Care Makeup Remover Pads

I believe these were from Kmart and just a few dollars. I use these to apply my makeup remover and they work really well. I go through so many of these so I usually just get the cheapest ones.
Repurchase? Yes.

Estee Lauder Matte Perfecting Primer ($50 AUD)

This was an expensive primer but worked really well to keep my face really matte and cover up any pores. I enjoyed using this but I find the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer is a much cheaper dupe!
Repurchase? No, only because of the price.

Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer Mini 20ml ($26 AUD)

I really do like this primer but it is very very pricey. I have actually already bought a full-size but I think when that is used up I won't repurchase because I feel like there are other drugstore alternatives that work just as well. This size is great for travel!
Repurchase? No.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer ($17.95 AUD)

I have gone through a few of these concealers and I love them for highlighting under the eye area! I use the shade Ivory to brighten up the face and I really like the effect. It's creamy and thin and doesn't crease for me.
Repurchase? Yes.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner ($14.95)

My HG eyeliner that I will always repurchase! It's a really nice opaque black, that glides on smoothly and stayed on all day/night. I love the felt tip that makes it so easy to do a winged look.
Repurchase? YES.

Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream ($52.99 AUD)

This one is just a deluxe sample size I got in an Antipodes pack. I really enjoyed using it before bed, and woke up with refreshed and moisturised skin. I still love my Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask the best though.
Repurchase? No, as I have a lot of other night creams.

Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream ($29 AUD)

This also came in the Regimen Kit for Combination/Oily Skin, and was a tiny sample. I loved this night cream a lot as it was very nourishing and gentle on the skin and felt really soothing as well. This would be a nice one for when you're skin is feeling dry and yucky. It makes my skin feel soft and hydrated without being too thick or clogging the pores.
Repurchase? Yes, when I use up some others.

Well, that's all for my Empties over the past few months! I hope you enjoyed going through the trash with me. I will definitely be doing more of these posts.
What was the last product you used up?
