How-To: Peachy & Bronzed Summer Look

With Summer in full swing here in Australia, it's a good chance to trade in your contour for a more shimmery all over bronzer, and incorporate more warm tones into your makeup routine. I personally love a natural, bronzey look so I'm always excited to play with peachy blushes and shimmery bronzers!

This particular makeup look is something I threw together last weekend when I was heading out with friends. I liked the way it turned out so I thought I'd share it with you all.

I started off this look by using my Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face SPF30+ which provides sun protection as well as smoothing and hydrating the skin. I also went in with a little bit of my Mecca Cosmetica Soft Focus Smoothing Primer over any areas where I have enlarged pores. For my base I used one of my favourite medium-full coverage foundations which is the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Light Beige (you can read the full review here).

For my eyes, I actually blended out Mac Cosmetics Blush in Sunbasque into the crease to create a nice peachy beige contour. I then added some of the lightest shade (pale peach colour) from my Nars Eyeshadow Duo in Key Largo in the centre of the lid and along the brow bone. To make the eyes pop, I used Mac Fix+ on my brush and applied the Mac Cosmetics Pigment in Melon (soft bright golden peach) to the centre of the lid. This is one of my favourite pigments and it looks amazing on bronzed skin (you can see a swatch here). I used the Maybelline Hypersharp Wing Liquid Eyeliner to create a slight wing and finished off with Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. To fill in my brows, I used my trusty Benefit Brow Zings Kit in Medium.

I highlighted under the eyes used the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory. I covered over any additional blemishes or redness with my Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer* in Medium. I then used a tiny bit of powder to set my face. To set my eyes I used the Australis AC on Tour Contour Kit using the yellow shade. I set the rest of my face with Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder in Natural (not pictured).

The Finished Look

For highlight/bronzing, which is key for this look I used the E.L.F Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Cream. The bronzing cream gives a very natural look. I applied it to my temples, just below my cheek bones and around my face and blended it in with a beauty blender. I then went over it lightly with a bronzing brush using the Too Faced Sun Bunny Dark Bronzer. For blush, I skipped the cream and just added a touch of the Too Faced Luminous Peach from the duo pictured. For highlight, I used Benefit Watt's Up which is just so pretty and makes you look glowing and natural.

To finish off the look, I went for a natural lip and applied the NYX Butter Lipgloss in Tiramisu.
