Bondi Box December 2015: Review

I was recently given the chance to try out a new monthly fitness & healthy lifestyle subscription called Bondi Box*. They send 5-7 fitness/health products each month including a fitness accessory. Personally, I've been working on my health and fitness over the past few years, especially leading up to my wedding late last year and now after gaining some extra weight on my honeymoon I have been working hard back at the gym and eating healthy, so I was happy to have the opportunity to try out a box like this.  Read on to see what I got inside the December box!

Each box comes with an information card that explains what's inside and a description of each product.

Koja Sesame & Almond Salad Topper ($12.95 AUD)
This is a pretty cool mix of nuts and seeds that you can add to your salad for some added protein. I eat a lot of salads for lunch so I'd definitely use this.

DrinkMaple Maple Water ($3.85 AUD)
This product seems pretty similar to coconut water but made with maple. This isn't something I'd usually pick up to try but it's nice to have the chance to try it out.

Invisible Zinc ($21.99 AUD)
Another super practical item in the box that I will definitely put to good use. December in Australia is hot hot hot so it's great to have this 50+ SPF that is also 4 hrs water resistant. I popped this straight into my beach bag to put to good use. Such a great idea!

Fit Mixes Protein Ball Mix ($14.50 for full size)
I was super pumped to find this in the December box! I love protein balls and I've always wanted to know how to make my own. This pack only contains enough for about 8 protein balls, but still enough to decide if you'd like to purchase the full size, and cookie dough flavour sounds amazing!

Slim Secrets Bare Bar ($5 AUD)
I hate the taste of some protein bars, but these are really yummy! Great to have before or after a big gym session. This flavour is double chocolate, and tastes great while still being low in sugar (2.5 grams) and having 12.3 grams of protein.

Coconut Magic Raw Organic Virgin Coconut Oil ($3.95 AUD)
This tiny jar of coconut oil would be perfect for traveling for a hair treatment on the go, facial moisturiser or lip balm but can also be used in cooking. I've actually never tried out coconut oil before so this was a happy addition for me.

Power Foods Cacao Nibs and Maca Smoothie Blend
The box contains two small sachets perfect for sampling! These can be added to smoothies or sprinkled over cereals or yogurt. The sachets are a great size to try out to see if you'd like to buy a full-size.

Bonus – Bondi Box Sports Towel ($14.95 AUD)
This was probably my favourite item because it's so practical! It's great to have an extra gym towel when yours might be lost somewhere, or in the wash. My husband actually stole this one and he really likes it. He said it's super soft and quick to dry.

Overall, I really enjoyed going through this fitness and lifestyle box. I'm not a fan of many of the beauty subscription boxes because they send you things you may already have or will probably never use, in the wrong shade, etc but this box is definitely a way to stay motivated in your health and fitness routine. The Bondi Box contained a lot of items that I could use straight away and some of the food items I'm looking forward to trying. I will definitely be purchasing next month's box myself to help keep myself motivated!

You can subscribe here for $29.95 per month with $5.95 shipping. There are also 3 and 6 month options.
