Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics: Boxing Day Haul

Lush is definitely a cult favourite brand among many and although I have dabbled with products here or there, mainly skincare and makeup items, I hadn't really gotten into their bath bombs or shower gels until the past few months.

It's only now that I can definitely understand how the Lush addiction begins. After buying one or two bath bombs at a time, I feel so sad and empty when I run out! They definitely help to unwind, relax and soothe your skin after a long day and make your bath feel like a special treat. When boxing day sales came around I couldn't resist picking up some of the gift packs available. Unfortunately the Lush site crashed during the sales so most of these ended up being full price items but they are still good value considering each set contains multiple items. I hope you enjoy seeing what I picked up!

Lush Haul

Lush Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb

This was a repurchase for me and probably my favourite bath bomb I have tried so far. This one always seems to be sold out in store and online but I love the calming scent (lavendar and ylang ylang) and the pretty coloured bath it creates.

I pretty much just purchased this one because it had an awesome name that reminded me of Game of Thrones. It is described as having a fruity fragrance, and is white with speckles.

I received a sample of this shower scrub that seems to be very popular among many. It has tiny bits of sea salt to create an exfoliating scrub and also contains lemon juice and mimosa blossom to form a tropical scent. It's a blue-colored scrub.

Lush Haul

I was probably most excited for this set, only because I had tried the Rose Jam Shower Gel when I picked it up on our honeymoon to use while traveling and fell in love. It was only after I had used up the entire bottle that I realised it was limited edition and quite rare and hard to find and sells out so quickly. I probably will wait to use this mini since I don't know when I will get one again!

The other little bits all smell amazing, especially the Ro's Argan Body Conditioner which is an in-shower body moisturiser which I've never tried before!

Lush Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb

A French Kiss Bubble Bar
Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb
Twilight 100g Shower Gel

Lush Twilight Shower Gel

The relax gift set also appealed to me because it had my favourite twilight bath bomb scent in shower gel form. I haven't tried this one before but I'm super excited to use it if it smells half as good as the bath bomb! It also contains a Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb which is one of the prettiest ones I've seen, it's covered in shimmering metallic purple and gold.

Lush Sakura Bath Bomb

Sakura Bath Bomb
Pop In The Bath Bubble Bar

This was the smallest set I ordered but the Sakura Bath Bomb sounded really appealing to me. It contains mimosa, jasmine and citrus scents. You also can't go wrong with a bubble bar to create lots of nice smells and bubbles in your bath.

Now all my Lush goodies are sitting in my basket next to my bathtub waiting to be used. I personally think that these are sort of a treat or luxury item, since any shower gel will foam up your bath just fine but these have a uniquely strong and relaxing scent that I find very calming. I also appreciate that these are made from all natural ingredients and have a lot of skincare benefits. I will continue to purchase these when all of my stash has been used up. I actually gave my husband a few bath bombs for Christmas in his stocking and now I think he is addicted to them like me!

What are your favourite Lush products? I'd love to hear your bath bomb or bubble bar recommendations since I have only tried a few!
