I actually struggled a little to put together this april monthly favourites as I really didn't try out too many new products, and especially with makeup I've kept it pretty simple, opting for well known and loved products. There are a few lifestyle products I'm including this month, but I promise everything listed is a must have for me over the month of April and worth knowing about! If you missed my March Monthly Favourites, you can read the post here.
I’m a huge lover of blushes, so when I read a post from Kat, from Kitsch Snitch, about how she decided to create her own Addicted To Blush Tag, I knew I had to complete it!!! It has taken me way too long to complete this (originally posted in February 2015), but now it’s finally here. If you’d like to read some other awesome responses to this tag which also inspired me to complete it, you can check out Loads of Lifestyle, Miss New Beauty or The Beauty Collection and read their posts, which answer these same questions. Keep on reading to find out my responses to this tag! Please feel free to join in and complete the tag yourself.
Chances are at least once in your life, you have probably purchased a foundation solely on it's hype within the beauty community. Sometimes you love it, other times it may not be for you. Estee Lauder Double Wear, MAC Studio Fix Fluid and Too Faced Born This Way are all foundations that come to mind when I think of some bases which have been talked about and hyped up on many Beauty Blogs and YouTube channels. But what about all those little guys out there that don't get recognized or talked about? The discounted foundation you bought that turned out to be awesome? The foundation that you picked up randomly at the drugstore and then fell in love with? Today I'm talking about 3 very underrated foundations that I never hear much about but which I really like a lot and think are worth trying! A relatively new skincare brand which has been welcomed into my skincare routine is Philosophy Skincare who believe in working closely with dermatologists and scientists to offer revolutionary ingredients, breakthrough formulas and advanced technology for the skin. Their skincare is designed to not only deliver dramatic results but to enhance the integrity of the skin. I really like Philosophy Skincare, especially their "promise to deliver remarkable products that inspire you to live a better life by being better to yourself". They also have super cute, and innovative packaging which makes it easy to read and understand the purpose of each product and directions for use. Today, I'm highlighting some of my most-loved products from this brand with mini reviews of each. I'm actually not a big fan of the cult favourite purity cleanser, so you may even discover some products you haven't heard of before!
I have waited several weeks before publishing this review, since I wanted to be 100% sure before sharing my opinions about the latest chocolate bar palette from Too Faced Cosmetics. I picked this up back in February, and have been swatching it and testing it out so I could put together an in depth review for you all! If you were wondering if you should pick up this palette, if it's worth adding to your collection or just doing some research before you commit to purchasing, you've come to the right place. Keep reading to find out what I think about this pretty little palette!
Another month has passed us by, which means another empties post to go through for you guys! Sadly, I didn't get through as many products this month as I was hoping but I think it was still a fair effort. Keep reading to go through the trash with me.
