RosehipPLUS: Organic Skincare Review

With winter well and truly here in Australia, my skin has gone from being combination with quite a bit of oil through my t-zone to being normal/dry in many areas. This has meant needing to change up my skincare routine quite a bit by leaving the charcoal masks and heavier exfoliant scrubs behind and replacing them with more hydrating products. The RosehipPLUS range has been a welcome addition to my skincare routine although it has taken me a while to start using the products. I like to introduce new items into my routine one by one to ensure I don't have any bad reactions and to avoid any unnecessary breakouts from product irritation. I think RosehipPLUS is definitely a skincare brand worth knowing about and after using these products for about two months, I thought I could share my thoughts and let you know my top picks from the range!

The first thing that you should know about RosehipPLUS is that this brand is extremely natural and non-irritating to the skin. All their products are certified organic and cruelty-free, which can be difficult to find! They use products that are manufactured free from chemicals as well as free from parabens, colourants, fragrance and preservatives are a healthier alternative for maintaining beautiful-looking skin. If you have sensitive skin, you will absoloutely love this very gentle skincare brand that still uses effective ingredients to deliver results for your skin.

RosehipPLUS Hydrating Day Cream

This is a lovely day cream that is a little thicker than your average day cream to provide that additional boost of hydration that your skin may need. It does work well under makeup, but I know for me when it starts to warm up again I would probably switch this up for something a little lighter such as a gel based moisturiser. This day cream contains nourishing ingredients such as rosehip oil, chamomile, avocado oil and rose geranium and is rich in naturally occurring vitamins A, C, E plus omega 3, 6 & 9. I often apply this after sunscreen on my no makeup days and my skin feels hydrated all day.

RosehipPLUS Nourishing Night Cream*

This night cream has a very convenient pump dispenser for easy application before bed. This one is very similar to the day cream, but contains some richer ingredients to create a slightly heavier formula for intense hydration. The ingredients include rosehip oil, cocoa seed butter, jojoba seed oil, and shea butter. I have been enjoying this night cream and think it will really suit those who dislike creams with harsh chemicals or fragrances since this one is very gentle.

RosehipPLUS Organic Daily Cream Cleanser*

Out of the entire range, this was definitely my absolute favourite product! This has replaced my regular daily cleanser and I honestly look forward to using this each day. It works really well to remove dirt and makeup and if used twice to double cleanse, it removes all of my makeup, while still leaving the skin super hydrated. Containing jojoba and sea buckthorn, it helps to maintain the skin's perfect moisture balance for optimum comfort and radiance. When applying this, it feels you are applying a facial moisturiser it is so creamy, and then after washing it off you can immediately feel the effects and skin instantly feels hydrated. I really love it and will most certainly be repurchasing this.

RosehipPLUS Rosehip Oil Roll On*

This is a super convenient and cute idea for those of you who may travel quite a bit and struggle to take your rosehip oil bottle with you for fear that it may break, or spill everywhere. This little roll on is super convenient and travel-friendly and contains all the same nourishing and hydrating ingredients as the original RosehipPLUS Rosehip Oil without any of the mess! You just use the metal roller ball to massage Rosehop Oil into the face wherever it needs to go and then massage it in with your hands. I used this on my recent trip to Sydney and it was so perfect and easy to use.

RosehipPLUS Rosehip Oil*

RosehipPLUS Rosehip Oil is a 100% pure and natural certified organic skincare product, cold pressed from the seeds of the Rosehip (rosa canina) that helps to support healthy-looking skin for use on the face and body. As many of you know, Rosehip Oil is a great multi-tasking product when it comes to skincare and can be used for reducing the appearance of stretchmarks and scars (including acne scarring), maintain skin's hydration and softness, as well as minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I've used quite a few different rosehip oils and I really like this one as it quickly sinks into the skin and is not as greasy as others I have tried.

Overall, I really enjoyed using the RosehipPLUS Certified Organic skincare range and I think they offer some really effective, natural and nourishing products which are particularly great during the winter, when our skin is feeling dull and dry. My two favourite products would definitely the be Organic Daily Cream Cleanser and the Rosehip Oil Roll On, which is so unique and great for travel!
