Makeup Declutter Series Part 2: Concealers, Brow Products, Mascaras, Eyeliners and Skincare

Hi beauties! Welcome back to my Makeup Declutter Series! Today is Part Two - Concealers, Brow Products, Mascaras, Eyeliners and Skincare products so there is lots to show you! If you haven't already read part one of the series, you can read it here. I love taking you all through my decluttering process so I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing these posts for you and all the photos taken. Let's get into it!

Concealers and Brow Products

I didn't have an overwhelming amount of brow products or concealers compared to my crazy lipstick collection, but quite a few of my concealers and brow products were not cruelty-free such as Maybelline, Covergirl and L'Oreal. In terms of brow products, the non-CF brands I was using were mainly Rimmel and Benefit.

Mascaras & Eyeliners

I had a fair few mascaras built up in my collection along with many eyeliners which I wasn't using, were old and worn out. It felt amazing to go through all these products and throw away anything that was old, outdated or not being used. Any opened mascaras were thrown for hygiene reasons. Some non-CF brands included L'Oreal, Maybelline, and Rimmel.

Eye Primers and Mascaras

As you can see from the photos above, my collection was dramatically reduced after this declutter session. I was left with only four mascaras since almost all of my previous collection were from drugstore brands that were not cruelty-free. If you have any good cruelty-free mascara suggestions, please let me know!

Skincare was definitely a huge area for hoarding. This does not even include my everyday bathroom items, my face masks or my tanning items and body moisturisers. I have a serious skincare hoarding issue everyone. As you can see below, it was super messy with nothing really organised at all. I could never really find anything I was looking for which was one of the reasons I started this declutter. Some non-cruelty free brands included Bioderma, Garnier, Nuxe and L'Oreal.

Overall, I'm happy with the new setup for my skincare. I know there is still a lot of items but at least now I know where everything is and can easily access these items when I want to try out something new or need to reach for something specific. I like having the serums upright so they don't spill as well.

And here's a sneak peak of the rest of my beauty room after the declutter. You'll have to read the rest of the declutter series as well as the final post which shows my full makeup room! Stay tuned for next week's post which will be going through my bronzers, highlighters, powders and foundations!

When was the last time you did a big declutter? What holds you back?
