PrettyLittleThing Fashion Haul

Hi Everyone, I am so sorry it's been so long since my last post! Life has certainly been busy. I will have to do a life update for you all next! Today I am bringing to you a very different post for me. I rarely do fashion posts, but when I was asked to collaborate with PrettyLittleThing, I jumped at the opportunity to go outside my comfort zone, and bring you some new and interesting content.

PrettyLittleThing is a site that I have shopped at many times before. I like that the site has a huge amount of variety, as well as a great range of sizing that also includes plus sizes. I generally am considered an "inbetweenie" as my size can range from 12-16, so I often can just push over into the plus size range, depending on the garment, material, etc.

PrettyLittleThing is great because you can actually choose the size model you would like to view the clothes on, so I tend to just curvy or plus size so I can get a sense of how those clothes might look on me. It really helps me to get a better visual before I make an order.

When I have ordered from PrettyLittleThing in the past, I have found their sizing to be slightly on the small size, so I tend to size up when I order from them. Their clothes are very on trend. Sometimes, I find the material can feel a little cheap, but it really depends on what you order. The great thing is that if any of yout items don't fit or aren't what you expexted, you can retun the item within 28 days via the PLT returns portal. Unfortunately, you have to pay for postage in order to return your items (I wish this wasn't the case) but they do have the function to return your items if they are not suitable. You can read more about the PLT returns policy here.

Now onto my haul - I tried to choose items that were on trend for Spring 2019, and that were a mix of casual and corporate. I work in an office, so I like to find items that can be worn at my workplace, but also could be worn for a night out or for a casual dinner with friends. I hope you like the pieces I have chosen. All pieces were ordered in a size 16. These pieces were sent to me free of charge on behalf of PrettyLittleThing, however all opinions are 100% honest and my own, as always. I have also included prices at the time I was looking on their website. PLT always has a great sale, including man times 40% off all items.

[PrettyLittleThing / Plus Rose Floral Shirred Frill Hem High Neck Blouse*] $50 AUD

(was on sale for $20 AUD at time of ordering)

This was completely out of my comfort zone. I don't generally wear high neck blouses. I was also worried that the blouse would be too cropped but it actually fit perfectly. The elastic in the arms was different, but I ended up liking it. I would wear this to the office, but it would also look super cute for a night out with the girls. I love the colours, movement and feminity of this piece.

[PrettyLittleThing / Plus Black Gold Button Oversized Blazer Dress*] $58 AUD

(was on sale for $23 AUD at time of ordering)

This was definitely too short for my taste to be a dress, which is how it was advertised. However, I love an oversized blazer and thought this was cute and different. A good example of a piece that could easily be worn to work for an important meeting, or styled differently for a night out with jeans and heels. I paired this with black pants and some black flats for an idea of how I would wear this to work but you could easily add a mini skirt and heels and wear this out on the town!

[PrettyLittleThing / Plus Black Oversized T-Shirt Dress*] $35 AUD

(was on sale for $24 AUD at time of ordering]

This was a fun little choice I decided to throw in. I love the "prettylittlething" text all over this dress which makes it a little funky. I also worried that the dress would be clingy and unflattering but it's made from a very stretchy and sheen material that actually suited my curves realy well. I loved pairing this with a jean jacket and white sneakers for the perfect casual kit for a weekend adventure.

[PrettyLittleThing / Plus White Tie Waist Dalmation Print Midi Dress*] $68 AUD

(was on sale for $47 AUD at time of ordering)

This was by far my favourite piece that I ordered. I wasn't sure what it would look like on me or if I would suit it. I love the big shoulders, they have a regal look to them. I also love the midi length, with a side split that isn't too short or revealing, so you could still wear this to the office. The waist is elastic so I still had lots of room for my big boobs, and felt really comfortable. I switched up the belt it came with for a wooven black belt as I liked it better. I paired this with black boots, but I think heels, flats or sandals could all work depending on how you styled this dress. Overall, I loved the shape and print. Winner for me.

Well, that's all for my PrettyLittleThing haul! Hope you enjoyed my mini videos.
Apologies for the dodgy filming but I thought it would give you a better idea of what the clothes look like in action, rather than just still photos.
